Purpose
While coordinating with affiliated organizations, we are working to preserve and maintain the pilgrimage route, the area surrounding the temples, and the landscape. Based on reports of related measures undertaken by other relevant organizations within Japan, we are taking concrete steps towards urban and regional development that utilizes the pilgrimage to its best advantage in the prefectures and municipalities of Shikoku.
